Today and my many blessings...

Well, wow! Where do I start??? I had great things happen today. I enjoyed every waking minute. First, let me tell you I am so thankful for growing pains. I posted last night that I was a little worried about Jaxon and his being so tired the past week or so and he woke up with the worst scream and crying the other night his legs hurt. Welp! I am 99.9% sure it was growing pains and nothing more! Thank you Jesus.

Blessing #1 Jaxon feeling better

My theory was proven when we walked into his daycare this morning and his teacher Ms. Dinah said "Wow, Jaxon did you grow over the weekend?" This assured me my worries are nonetheless unnecessary. Again, thank you Jesus. I was really starting to worry about my little guy. Sweet little (big) Jaxon is well.

Blowing momma some yummy kisses.

Did you catch them momma?
Blessing #2 Surprise Gift

I received a text from my sister in law today asking me to come visit her after work. So, I was excited to because I had not seen my niece Kayla Jean in over three weeks and I miss her so much. Kayla and I have a special bond. Or at least I think so. She loves me as much as I love her, ok maybe not, because I sure do love her. When we got there Kayla was asleep, so I got to wake her up and love on her non-stop. She is a true love bug!  After visiting with Kayla, Tracy remembered why she had asked me to come over. She had made Jeslyne a cute little onesie. It is so cute. Check it out below. Thank you Aunt Tracy! We love you!!! Also, the pictures below our gift from Tracy is Jeslyne just about asleep but fighting it pretty hard to stay awake.

Blessing #3 Yummy Supper

Tonight we were able to grill out! It was nice enough outside that we grilled so boneless ribs and sausage. My MIL and FIL came over for supper too. We really enjoy our time with them and they love visiting with their grand babies. I think they live and breathe for their grand babies. I don't think there are  very many days that go by that they do not either call or stop by to see them. Both Jaxon and Jeslyne love to see them. So my dinner tonight was very good! Everyone enjoyed it and each other. Thank you Mom and Dad West for all you do!!

Blessing #4 Mail

Since Randy ran over the mail box over 6 months ago, my in laws have been receiving my mail and delivering almost on a daily basis. You can thank small towns for this! Well she had made a delivery on Saturday while we were at my sister's playing cards. While she was over tonight she asked if we had picked up the mail from where she left it. When she brought it in, she handed me a little white box. I just kept thinking "What's this?" Seemed strange because the box was small. As soon as I saw Carol Bishop Hauch on the front of it, I knew it was going to be awesome. Carol sent me this below for Valentine's day. Thank you so much Carol, this is certainly going in my Scentsy Office. I really appreciate all you have done for me. Isn't this cool? This is a cool pen and holder that says Scentsy! I absolutely love it and the pen writes GREEAAAT! (In the voice of Tony Tiger)

Blessing # 5 Momma

Yesterday was the first day we heard Jeslyne say Momma! It was truly amazing! She has been saying Da-Da for quite sometime now and her next word was Bubba. She now repeats it after you. She really is a smart baby.Knowing I nurse her I really thought she would be pretty attached to me like Jaxon was. Boy was I wrong. Thus, the only time she says momma, is when she wants to nurse.  She says, mommmmm (great big pause) aaaaa. She really is a sweetie and it si so good to know that they are ours.

Blessing #6 Valentine's Pictures

Today, Amy with Maitlen Photography, sent me two pictures via Faxebook of our kids on Saturday. I just love both of them. I wish I could see Jaxon more, bit all in all they are GREAT!!! Thank you again Amy for snapping some great photos of our kids. Don't forget to check her out on Facebook.

I am not looking forward to the bad weather coming up tomorrow night. I hope all is well with everyone and you enjoy the rest of your week. I am getting really tired. Goodnight and God Bless. Oh and the best sound is hearing your baby sleep through the monitor. Thank you Jeslyne for being the best baby EVER!
Here are some pictures of my babies tonight. They are the sweetest little guy and gal you could ever meet.
Look Momma, I am standing here about to fall asleep.

So so sleepy! Must have been a hard day back at daycare.

Is this not the best daddy ever? If its not one kid its another.

Cleaning - Relaxing - Cooking - Relaxing - Loving = Family

This weekend has been a great weekend for us. Randy was able to get off work a little early yesterday, so he came home and we headed back into town to take the kids Valentine's pictures. ( I am looking forward to getting these.) Amy and Clifford always do a great job. Always!

Last night we went to my sister's house to play games. She invited a co-worker and his wife and us. We had a blast. We played Phase 10 and Spinner. Spinner is a game played with domino's. I had never played Spinner before, but it was very fun! This is a "must have." Anyone know where to get it??? I think I would like to have a once a month game night with friends. It really does a body good. Randy and I laughed and really had the best time. The kids were great and enjoyed themselves.

If you all know Jeslyne, she does not do well at other people's houses. She is a much needed home-body. She manages well with others but if she never left her house, she would consider that the "cream of the crop!" So I am venturing out more as I know it will help her in the long run.

This picture was Saturday getting her ready to take her Valentine's pictures. I could not figure out which bow and head band would be the best. She did not wear the PJ's she has on in them. Promise.

Jaxon has been on antibiotics for 9 days now. His last day is tomorrow. Since he has been on them, he has not been himself. After he takes them he just lays around and says he is tired. He just seems so weak. I have tried to convince myself it is the medicine, but he really is starting to worry me. Yesterday morning he woke up and could barely walk. He was crying saying his leg hurt. When I asked where, he pointed to the back of his knee. I googled it because I was worried. Well, the good ole' WWW explained it was growing pains. So I have really assured myself that he is weak because of the medicine and his leg hurt because of growing pains. Has anyone experienced this with their little ones? However, rest assure, I will be calling Dr. Yap in the morning.

Jaxon James Lee

As I posted yesterday, I cleaned and started on laundry. Today, I was able to finish all of it. I washed all our beds. Is that not the best feeling!?! A clean bed!!! I think this is my all time favorite things!! Everyone in my house sleeps better after a bath and in a clean bed. So I try to do this every weekend!!

Since Jaxon wasn't feeling well, I asked him what he wanted for supper. He quickly said "Mommy your yummy fried chicken." As long as he is still eating, he must not be in to bad of shape. So of course, I made his favorite meal. Fried Chicken tenders, cucumbers, corn on the cob and smashed potatoes. He even asked for seconds.

When we eat supper, I always put Jeslyne in her high chair and let her sit with us at dinner. Tonight, after Jaxon said grace, she started screaming, looking at me, screaming, and slamming her hand on the high chair. Well, she was not going to wait for me to eat. So I made her some oatmeal and fed her. One bowl was not enough tonight. She had two. She is a growing girl. HA! And she likes her tummy full.

Well, I really wasn't into the super bowl, so I just spent time with my baby boy and after putting the kids to bed, started blogging.

I am looking forward to great week. Have a blessed week. May God Bless you in all your ventures.

Sweet Saturday Mornings...

Good Morning. Randy had to work today. I had planned on going in to catch up, but since we really only have one reliable car right now, he went in and I will try to go in tomorrow. I just couldn't ask my in laws to watch the kids...because they did offer for two days, and I am sure that did them in. So today, I am catching up on some cleaning that is much needed at the West Nest. I made Jaxon and I some eggs and bacon for breakfast. So thought I would blog really quick, then get started on cleaning my Nest.

Here is a picture from last night when I got home and was in the middle of making supper. Jaxon kept screaming "mommy, mommy, mommy!" I thought something was really wrong with the toot! Well, not really, this is what I walked in on.

He was completely fine. He just wanted to know what a "word" was in the book. No, he can not read, but he does remember what I read to him and can read the book back to you exactly the way it reads. At least he will do well with his memory in school.

This morning Jeslyne woke up in the best mood ever. Probably because she slept 12 hours...oh no no no not through the night, but almost. Here she is after enjoying her rice cereal this morning. She now has three teeth. It seems as if she is getting all of them right now. I guess we will get the irritable attitude all at once! I just keep putting teething cream on her teeth to help.

Today we plan to get their Valentine's Day pictures taken with Amy! She really does a fabulous job. Check her facebook page out here

We are enjoying our Saturday thus far. Thank you Lord for the beautiful sunshine and wonderful glistening on the snow. It is absolutely beautiful outside. Enjoy your day. Cleaning here I come...

We did it!! Now here is our journey for all to see.

Thank you! Thank you Lord for all you have done for my family. You are the greatest. I have been asked several times if I have a blog. Well I have decided to follow everyone else and create our family blog. I hope you all will join me. It is fun and a wonderful way to keep in touch with family and friends. So I suppose I will get started...

Randy and I got married May 17, 2003! This was truly when my life began. I learned more about myself through this man I call my husband. He is the best man in the world. He is completely opposite of me! Which makes for a perfect mix. I can't help but be completely aww'd by the fact that before I was born, God picked him for me and me for him. It truly amazes me!!! Thank you Lord for bringing me the best man EVER!

Not only did I get the best man EVER! I received my first child August 9, 2006. We went through the entire pregnancy not knowing what we would have. It was the best decision we made. Truly the last surprise. So early afternoon on August 9th, a healthy baby boy, Jaxon James Lee West joined our family and we became a family of three. He is very athletic, I know he is only 4, but he is a go getter. I love this about him. He is very diplomatic. I think he is going to make a good lawyer. HA!!  He is the best thing that had ever happen to Randy and I. I will be completely honest, I am not a baby, but I really thought Jaxon would be my only child. Then later I would learn, I wasn't sure if I could love another child the way I loved Jaxon. I struggled with this for about 3 1/2 years. Then...

Randy and I decided that we wanted one more baby. I know secretly Randy wanted his baby girl. Well, we planned to start trying. However, there really was no "trying." HA!

When we found out we were pregnant with our second child. We were were so excited. We were still in the process of building our house, so it was a bit stressful, but we knew God has his plan. We decided to have a revealing party to reveal the sex of our second baby. We knew we had to do something special for this one as we did for Jaxon.

On June 24, 2010 our beautiful baby girl Jeslyne Rose West was born. We knew when she was out she would certainly be a Diva! She has held up her bargain. She is the most loving bug you will ever meet. She could lay on her daddy's chest for hours and never move. I will say, she is my child that if she could crawl back inside my tummy, she most certainly would. She is very stubborn, but also very shy. I can't wait to see what our life will be with her. She is truly amazing. (Yes, I have permission to use this picture.)

So now we are enjoying life and loving every minute of it. I will try to post daily. Here is the most recent pictures of my precious babies.

Thanks for following! For all my friends in North Texas, please stay warm!
